Azure Wins the October Zuda Competition!

October 31, 2008

Thanks to everyone who voted for Azure and put the comic into the top spot over some really tough competition. I really appreciate all the help everyone gave me and can’t wait to continue the story of Azure.

I will be throiwn up some more sketches and wallpapers over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes and feed readers peeled for Blog updates!

Thanks again to everyone!

  1. Congrats man! Don’t let the blog down, keep the story going and cheers!

  2. Hey cueroscuro! Don’t sweat 🙂 I will most certainly, not let the blog or anyone down if I can help it. 🙂 I am working right now on some more thank you letters, and then I should be working on a few new wallpapers. If I am allowed I will try to post the pencil sketches for some of those first 8 pages – to see the humble beginnings they came from.

Thanks so much for the congratulations!

  3. Hi Daniel,
Just wanted to say what a great comic start!
Definitely want to read and see more of your excellent art and storyline. What I liked most immediately about what I saw on the first page was just how “clean” (uncluttered with the art supplying much of the storyline and dialogue kept to a minimum) your comic is.
I do hope that you will have the series published!
Please put my name on a contact list whenever you get the next series of frames ready for the fan base!

  4. Thank you Jerry!

I can’t wait to tell the rest of the story and to get started on the new pages. I will certainly keep you on the list to shoot an email to when updates have been made to the comic. As to the publishing…One can only hope that Azure will make it to print as well 🙂

    Take care,

  5. YO! Thanks Dan. Will be looking forward!!
Visited your site and saw the masks. Did you make those or buy those? If you are into masks then let me intro you to:
Monica is an exceptional artist, too!

  6. Hey Jerry – Yeah – My girlfriend and I actually mode those masks for an annual masquerade benefit we attend each year for historic Baltimore businesses. Kind of a shwanky black tie thing, and gives us an excuse to dress up. We’ve won the competition 2 years in a row. I will check out Goblinart and drop a note that you sent me. Thanks muchly!
