About this blog

This is the production blog of the online comic Azure, developed by artist/writer Daniel Govar. The comic is created almost entirely digitaly with Photoshop CS3, and watercolours. By design the comic updates 2 pages weekly and is currently on hiatus as season 2 is being developed. Season 1 is xurrently availble for viewing at: http://www.azurecomic.com

I also give short tutorials on how a single page is created from start to finish in photoshop, and provide downloadable videos of the process so viewers may follow along as the page is being developed. Sketches and some of the reference imagery (photos of models, buildings I might have used as reference for illustrations, doodles that turned into ships, etc), I will also post here to see where my mind wandered when making the series.
